West Wycombe Painters

West Wycombe Painters are a group of friends who paint together. They have been practicing art in and around the south Buckinghamshire Chilterns in one form or another in excess of 20 years.

A progressive group, the artists individually run their own exhibitions and develop their own creative inspiration. Each has a speciality although evolution takes a part in how this moves througout an artists' career.

The Group comprises mostly painters, there are one or two who also sculpt. For example, one creates metalwork sculptures and paints too. Styles vary as do preferred subject matter and media.

The group exhibit together and as individuals. During Bucks Open Studios in the summer, the artists show their work at their studio, at home or in selected venues. They are often in attendance and may be actually working whilst the studio is 'open'.
